Through the provision of respective and inclusive care services, it is our mission to help both elderly people and those with disabilities to remain at home; to prevent premature admission to residential care and to improve the health outcomes for our community.
With a key focus on helping our community maintain their independence, our services are individually tailored which ensures all care requirements are met on a personal basis.

Managing Director/ Care Manager
Lani is a proud Aboriginal woman born and raised in South-west Queensland with family ties to Mandindanji and Kamilaroi country through her mother and Noongar and Yamitji through her father.
Lani relocated to Wagga Wagga in 2019 after being a successful candidate for the NSW Health – Aboriginal Cadetship Program and being offered a position in Mental Health at the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. Lani has witnessed and experienced the health inequalities that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people experience which led to her pursuing a career in Healthcare and Disability Support.
Lani has extensive experience in the Workplace Health and Safety field, having worked throughout WA, NT, Qld and NSW in various Senior HSE, governance and assurance roles over the past 15 years. More recently Lani has worked across the Victorian and NSW health system in the capacity of a Student Nurse (RN) and Assistant in Nursing (AIN), as well as a Leading Hand in both Aged Care and Disability Support Services. Lani possesses AdvDip in Natural & Cultural Resource Management, Cert IV in WHS and Cert IV in Business Administration. In addition, Lani has recently completed a BSc in Nursing and is currently enrolled in a Cert IV in Disability. Her qualifications, experience and passion for improved health outcomes and quality of life for Indigenous people will positively contribute to the commitment of Corella Health “bridging the gap” and ensuring the provision of culturally safe and appropriate care to the Wagga Wagga community.
Lani has an unwavering commitment and ability to engage with individuals from all walks of life and looks forward to working collaboratively with her team of highly experienced and qualified professionals to ensure high quality, person-centered, culturally safe and appropriate services are
delivered to NDIS participants within the Wagga Wagga region.
Director
Maddi is a proud Ngiyampaa woman who was raised in a small Indigenous community in far west NSW, where she witnessed firsthand the health barriers affecting Aboriginal people.
Maddi relocated to Wagga Wagga in 2015, where she embarked on her journey into healthcare, studying a Bachelor of Nursing at CSU and working as a disability support worker. Maddi successfully completed the Aboriginal Nursing Cadetship Program at MLHD and has since work across a number of areas including surgical, orthopaedics and critical care. More recently, Maddi’s experience has expanded into General Practice, Aged Care and Disability Nursing.
Maddi’s focus is on providing additional support services to the Wagga Wagga Indigenous community as we address and navigate the health challenges faced by Aboriginal individuals together
Maddi is excited to work collaboratively to provide our Community with a safe place to access appropriate services and support.
Independent Adviser
Tamara is a proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander woman who is passionate about working with mob and health clinicians to move towards closing the gap and providing a safe space for healing.
Tamara’s family ties extend from Mt Isa – the Kalkadoon country with connection through her father and her mothers roots from Mer and Erub Island in the Torres Strait Islands. Tamara is a Registered Nurse who undertook her studies in Bsc in Nursing through Deakin University in Geelong. Prior to this, Tamara worked in remote and urban communities as an Aboriginal Health Worker. Tamara’s clinical experience and understanding of the challenges faced by many Indigenous people broadens the knowledge and expertise that she brings to the team at Corella Health.
Tamara believes that respect, trust, and honesty are pivotal when creating therapeutic relationships. Tamara looks forward to working collaboratively with the team at Corella Health to provide a safe space for healing and access appropriate services that will improve the quality of life for clients living within our local community.
Independent Advisor
Peter is an Aboriginal man with a connection to the St George region of SW Queensland and Kamilaroi country through his Mother and South West Boojarah, Widi Mob, Southern Yamatji and Njamal country through his Father.
Holding a BSc in Applied Geology through Curtin University of Technology, and an MBA through the
Australian Institute of Business, Peter has held a number of operational and leadership roles across
the mining and energy resources sector. Currently holding positions at executive level with several Indigenous businesses, Peter works with communities and businesses across Asia Pacific to deliver
value into regions.
Prior to entering the resources sector, Peter held roles as an Indigenous teacher aide and a youth worker in regional Queensland and believes that a collaborative approach that respects and embraces individual differences is paramount to achieving positive outcomes for people and communities.
Independent Adviser
Norelle is a highly experienced and knowledgeable health professional who has travelled and worked throughout Cape York and Southeast Arnham Land as both a Clinical Nurse and Credentialled Diabetes Educator.
Drawing on her many years of practice as a Registered Nurse and Credentialed Diabetes Educator, Norelle endeavors to provide safe and holistic care to NDIS participants by taking a person-centered approach and working closely with medical and allied health professionals to achieve improved health and lifestyle outcomes.
Norelle’s passion and in-depth understanding of health inequalities, particularly within Indigenous
communities will strengthen and guide the team at Corella Health to ensure that all care
services are delivered both at a high standard and tailored to individual needs and preferences.
